Cross Propz wishes AMY DOMBROSKI the best!
At Cyclocross World Championships in Sankt Wendel, Germany.
Now it's January and the last of the Colorado Cup races has been held. This race was at what we call “The Rez” and as you can surmise its at the Boulder Reservoir, where there is lots of sand….and wind. Altho the race wasn’t as heavily attended as we would have liked to have seen, it was a well planned course, and creative use of an often used venue.
Some of the reason for the lack of attendance in the January races I think, is due to the fact that the State Championships and the Cyclocross Nationals have already taken place, Plus the holidays and the loss of individual fitness. Maybe if the State Championships and the Nats were moved to a January date the attendance would pop back up…..but it’ll be difficult to move the holidays!
Cross Propz Racers had a good season especially for our first season. Racers Chad Elmendorf , Bryan Harwood, Dave ‘Singlespeed’ Kilmoyer and Bill Teasdale all had good showings and Racer Andy Harmon moved from Cat 4 to Cat 3….the 4′s were pretty happy to get him off the front! His lovely wife Jenny consistently raced at the top of the Womens 4 class. Yours truly raced, had fun and ended up injured, but will live to race another day!
We are all looking forward to the 2011 season and all that comes with it. Cross Propz (the company) will be offering new products and some more training tips and information on local as well as national races. We plan on staying in the mix with all the new and exciting happenings in the world of Cyclocross.
Thanks for reading, until next time,
Paul
